-1Douglas Brady, M.Ed is a somatic psychotherapist, certified relationship coach for singles and couples, and a gifted intuitive healer. He has maintained a successful private practice for over 30 years with a national clientele. He teaches professional workshops on “The Psychology of Symptoms” at Kripalu Center in Lenox, MA, at the Shambhala Mountain Center in CO, and other locations throughout the U.S. Douglas earned his Masters degree in psychological counseling from Antioch University in 1978, and combines that with years of study in yoga, bodywork, energy healing, meditation, re-birthing, and core energetics. He is also a trained practitioner in Journey Work, The Sedona Method and Voice Dialogue Work. He is a former long term resident and head therapist and instructor at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, the largest holistic health center in North America. Currently he has a successful practice in Boulder, Colorado, where he collaborates with medical doctors to provide a body-mind centered, psychotherapeutic approach to working with the underlying causes of physical symptoms.  He teaches classes, workshops and apprenticeships on his unique approach to healing the whole person known as “The Psychology of Symptoms”. Douglas’ work is heart-centered, intuitive, and empowering. His deepest passion is to guide individuals and couples to wholeheartedly embrace their full humanity and authenticity. Douglas is a light-worker who embraces the deep richness and power of embracing shadow as a way of fully embodying our aliveness.
